2014 Kappa Kappa Gamma Holiday Homes Tour

Join us for the 63rd annual Kappa Kappa Gamma Holiday Homes Tour. This year, four of Kansas City's finest homes are on display, decorated for the holidays by outstanding local florists. The tour has raised about $1.9 million for area non-profits and the Kappa Foundation since its inception. The three-day event will be held December 3rd through December 5th.

Tour tickets are $25 in advance at local outlets, including Hen House markets and tour florists, as well as from area Kappas and online. Tickets also are available for $30 on the days of the tour at the featured homes.

2014 Beneficiaries

SAFEHOME located in Johnson County, is dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence and partner abuse for victims and their children by providing shelter, advocacy, counseling and prevention education in our community. The funds raised by the 2014 Kappa Holiday Homes Tour will go towards SAFEHOME's children's programming.

Kansas City Community Gardens for more than 35 years has provided self-help and educational assistance to low-income people, children and community groups in the metropolitan area, teaching them to grow their own food from garden plots located in backyards, vacant lots, schoolyards and community sites. Its headquarters and the Beanstalk Children’s Garden are located inside Swope Park in Kansas City, Mo. The Kappa funds will go to support Community Partner Garden projects at non-profits on both sides of the state line that are growing and harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables for hunger prevention and relief. The tour funds also will provide targeted support and supplies to agencies that serve at-risk children and youth with garden projects.

Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, which provides educational scholarships for undergraduate and graduate women and focuses on preserving Kappa history.  The Foundation in 2012 and 2014 recognized the Kansas City Kappa Alumnae Association for the highest level of giving to the Foundation.
